Overview

As an Assurance Manager at SGV & Co., a member firm of EY, you will contribute to Assurance Services by reviewing financial statements, discussing accounting and financial reporting with clients, and providing recommendations to audit stakeholders. You will help clients comply with reporting requirements and apply professional judgment across various industries.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and related financial reporting matters, as well as regulations from SEC, BIR, BSP, and IC.
• Apply current audit techniques to carry out complex procedures and lead teams or parts of engagements.
• Identify areas of risk within the client’s business and define the appropriate audit approach.
• Engage with clients to provide authoritative advice and maintain professionalism throughout engagements.
• Build relationships with client personnel, and demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness in addressing client issues.
• Provide leadership, judgment, and administrative direction to the audit team.
• Foster a positive learning culture and coach junior team members to support their development.
