Senior AU Tax Accountant - Team Lead (AU Accounting Firm, Hybrid)

Schedule : Monday – Friday (06 : 30 AM - 03 : 30 PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, CA, or equivalent certification required.
• Experience with accounting and tax software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
• 5+ years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on Australian clients and ATO compliance.
• 2+ years leadership experience, including team coordination and performance management.
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax laws, including GST, FBT, PAYG, BAS, and corporate tax.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for managing client relationships and team collaboration

What will you do?

The Senior Tax Accountant (Team Lead) is responsible for managing complex tax compliance and advisory services for Australian clients while leading a team of tax professionals. This role involves reviewing tax returns, ensuring ATO compliance, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Australian tax laws and experience with tax software like Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
