We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Manager to lead integrated Trade & Consumer Marketing across ASEAN, NZ, and AU—elevating in-store execution and route-to-market while building consumer demand through digital-first, AI-enabled brand campaigns.
Role Purpose :
Own the end-to-end go-to-market engine—from shopper conversion at retail and distributor channels to consumer awareness, consideration, and loyalty. You will integrate trade programs, events / partnerships, channel activations, and consumer brand marketing (digital, social, content, influencers, CRM) to deliver growth, market share, and ROI.

- Reports to : Marketing Director
- Key partners : Regional Sales Leads, E-commerce & Marketplace Teams, Brand / Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and Country / Distributor partners.
Key Result Areas (KRAs) :
Trade Marketing & Channel Activation :
Build annual and quarterly Trade Marketing Plans by market / channel aligned to brand and commercial targets.Drive in-store visibility , point-of-sale (POSM), planograms, pricing / promotions, and digital merchandising to win the shelf and the search bar.Localize toolkits for distributors / retailers; orchestrate sell-in / sell-out programs and joint business plans.Track promo effectiveness; optimize assortments, price packs, and placement using data and AI-driven insights.Events, Partnerships & Shopper Engagement :
Own trade shows, distributor conferences, retail roadshows, and pet community events (virtual & physical).Develop partnerships with pet specialty retailers, vets, breeders, KOLs, and communities to amplify trials and repeat.Ensure post-event ROI measurement and lead-to-sales conversion.Consumer Marketing & Digital Growth :
Lead brand strategy and full-funnel campaigns (awareness → conversion → loyalty) across paid / owned / earned.Own content & social (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), influencer / creator collaborations, PR , and CRM / loyalty journeys.Partner with E-commerce on DTC / marketplace demand gen (search / display, retail media, affiliate).Use AI tools for audience insights, creative iteration, media mix modeling, and performance optimization.Performance, Insights & Governance :
Define dashboards and targets (sell-in / sell-out, market share, traffic, CAC, ROAS, LTV).Lead post-mortems and quarterly business reviews; reallocate spend to top-return levers.Uphold brand guidelines, legal / compliance (claims, pet nutrition standards), and budget discipline.Ad Hoc & Strategic Projects :
Support new market entries, portfolio resets, packaging refreshes, and innovation launches as needed.Day-to-Day Responsibilities (Illustrative) :
Trade Marketing :
Calendarize promotions; brief POSM; run retail media with key accounts; optimize digital shelves.Align with Sales & Distributors on forecasts, allocations, and merchandising priorities.Consumer Marketing :
Build integrated campaigns (content + media + influencers + CRM); brief agencies / creatives.Oversee editorial calendar, UGC / influencer seeding, community management, and social listening.Partner with Product on NPD GTM : claims, hero reasons-to-believe, launch bundles, sampling.Data, AI & Ops :
Use AI for audience clustering , creative testing , copy variants , and content repurposing .Maintain dashboards (e.g., GA4, retail media, marketplace analytics, CRM, BI).Track spend vs budget; produce monthly / quarterly performance packs.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s in Marketing / Business; Master’s a plus.8+ years in Trade / Shopper & Consumer Marketing within FMCG / Consumer / Pet categories; regional exposure preferred.Demonstrated success delivering growth across multiple markets and channels (retail + e-commerce).Strong digital acumen : paid social, search / retail media, influencers, CRM / loyalty; hands-on with analytics.Proven experience applying AI tools (e.g., for insights, targeting, creative optimization).Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, project management, and vendor / agency orchestration.Growth mindset, resilience, and bias for action.Success Metrics (KPIs) :
Sell-in growth, sell-out velocity, improved distribution & weighted distribution.Promo ROI, trade spend efficiency, retail media ROAS.Share of shelf / search, on-site conversion, basket size, repeat.Brand awareness, engagement rate, CAC, LTV, CRM growth & retention.On-time / on-budget delivery of campaigns, events, and toolkits; partner satisfaction (NPS).Tools & Platforms (Examples) :
