We seek a sales support person to assist the sales manager with the sales quoting and install process. This role involves overseeing the client engagement end to end from quoting to install. This will mean engaging directly with the client, structural engineers, installers, and other staff to ensure a professional and smooth outcome for the end client.
This role requires the sales support person to meticulously analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and support project bidding processes. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams on design, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring precise quantification of materials and resources. This position is critical for delivering reliable cost assessments that drive successful project outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze architectural and engineering plans to identify material and labor requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including quantities, pricing, and resource allocations.
- Collaborate with project teams to clarify specifications and resolve discrepancies in plans.
- Coordinate structural engineers to ensure designs meet customer requirements and are produced in a timely manner.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and verify measurements for accuracy and compliance.
- Develop bills of quantities (BOQs) and cost breakdowns for project proposals.
- Review and interpret technical specifications to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and supporting documentation for audits.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing for materials and equipment.
- Organize installers to attend site for installation.
- Coordinate with accounts team to ensure all billing has been processed.
- Coordinate with installers to ensure all documentation has been produced and standards have been adhered to.

What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who :
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management is preferred.1+ years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or related fields.Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex project requirements.Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently.Benefits
