Responsible for preparing accurate estimates for high-current distribution boards, CT / meter boards, and utility switchboards. This includes developing itemized BOMs from single-line diagrams, coordinating supplier quotes, and creating clear, defensible proposals. The role also involves basic feasibility checks and mock layouts for enclosure quoting.

What You’ll Do

• Build detailed BOMs from SLDs / specifications and manage supplier quote requests
• Prepare accurate costings and proposal documents
• Perform quick feasibility checks and create basic mock layouts for proof of concept
• Track multiple live quotes and maintain organized records of pending supplier responses
• Estimating : Excel workbook for pricing, Word for detailed proposals, PM system for simple bids
• Helpful Skills : Familiarity with AutoCAD (not mandatory)
• Knowledge : Modular enclosure systems (any brand)

This role is ideal for someone who has a strong grasp of construction processes, preparing accurate cost estimates, analysing project specifications, excellent attention to detail, deadline-driven environment and ensuring our proposals are competitive and profitable. You’ll work closely with our project managers, designers, and suppliers to prepare accurate and competitive quotes for a wide variety of landscaping and construction works. What You’ll Do You’ll be the kind of person who : Prepare detailed estimates and bid proposals for commercial and high-end residential landscape construction projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scope to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks. Coordinate take-offs and pricing for materials, labor, and equipment. Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and operations teams throughout the pre-construction process. Lead bid strategy sessions and provide recommendations to executive leadership. Maintain estimating database and historical cost information. Requirements What You Bring We’re looking for someone who : 5+ years of estimating experience in landscape construction, site development, or related field. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry pricing, with landscape experience considered an advantage. Proficiency in estimating software is required, with experience in Cubit and Buildsoft considered a plus. Ability to read and interpret landscape and civil construction plans. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
