Role DefinitionProvides functional or technical expertise for the development, enhancement, customization and support of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application suite.
Responsibilities
- Create conceptual and logical business solution design and implement it for Deepening and Broadening business requirements.
- Lead the project team (internal and external) including the management of related business activities to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the specified quality that are capable of meeting desired business objectives and maximizing business benefit.
- Responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, and monitoring of projects assigned covering various functional / technical areas.
- Accountable for results of a large and / or complex support team and applies expertise to solve problems without clear precedent.
- Ensures adoption of best practices and standards in designing solutions and processes.
- Maintain expert knowledge of SAP functional / technical module / s and related delivery methods
- Review and monitor work progress of team and adjust timelines, if necessary, while keeping overall quality and budget in mind
- Ensure compliance to agreed methodology and use of company tools for Project Management, Time Management, Resource Plan and Financials.
- Gathering and analyzing information and providing recommendations to address and resolve ERP business issues.
- Responsible for the overall work quality of internal and external resources (via Delivery Partners) by ensuring that all outputs are reviewed and meets the team’s functional / technical standard.
- Identify risks and issues affecting development tasks / projects and recommend / implement resolutions
- Develop and maximize potentials of team members, as well as address skills gap by identifying training plan.
- Lead the team by acting as mentor / performance evaluator and oversee and ensure that the Team functions to which assigned are effectively carried out.
- Plan, assign, and review work of staff, adjusting work assignments and schedules to ensure completeness of assigned tasks via Resource Planning to maintain staffing need and respond to fluctuating workload.
- Act as coordinator and representative of the team in the absence of immediate head.
- Can apply knowledge to the other IT Delivery Services : Application Management, Change Management, Risk Management, Incident and Problem Management.
- Ensure that ERP systems remain robust, stable, and secure.
- Perform other duties of similar nature or level that may be assigned.
