CBS is seeking an experienced and strategic Infrastructure Wet Utilities Section Head to lead our wet utilities engineering team. In this executive role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of wet utilities infrastructure projects, including water supply, wastewater management, and stormwater systems. You will provide technical guidance and leadership to ensure that projects meet regulatory standards, sustainability goals, and client expectations. Additionally, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including government entities, contractors, and clients, to develop innovative solutions that address complex infrastructure challenges. Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor the wet utilities engineering team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of wet utilities projects from conception to completion.
- Develop and enforce best practices, policies, and procedures for wet utilities design and project management.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives with organizational goals.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies and practices in wet utilities engineering.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all wet utilities projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.A minimum of 15 years of experience in wet utilities engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.Proficiency in wet utilities design software and industry best practices.Strong understanding of local and national regulations related to water and wastewater systems.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects effectively.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Professional Engineering license (PE) is preferred.
