POSITION TITLE : Area Sales Manager
WORK LOCATION : Metro Manila (NCR) - field-based with regular travel to assigned store locations
WORK SETUP : Full-Time, Onsite
JOB SUMMARY :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee multiple store locations across Metro Manila (NCR). The role is responsible for managing and guiding Store Managers, ensuring operational excellence, achieving sales targets, and maintaining brand standards. The ideal candidate has solid field sales management experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for driving business growth through excellent customer experience and team performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
– Supervise and support Store Managers across assigned NCR locations to achieve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
– Conduct regular store visits to monitor operations, sales performance, compliance with company standards, and visual merchandising guidelines.
– Analyze sales reports, identify trends, and develop action plans to improve performance and maximize revenue.
– Ensure proper inventory management, including stock accuracy, product availability, and shrinkage control.
– Lead and motivate store teams by setting clear objectives, providing coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.
– Oversee implementation of sales and promotional strategies across all stores in the area.
– Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, HR, and Finance) to support business initiatives.
– Handle customer escalations and ensure excellent service delivery.
– Prepare and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and area performance analyses to management.
– Foster a positive and high-performance culture across all stores.
QUALIFICATIONS :
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or equivalent experience.
– Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in area or field sales management, preferably in retail or FMCG.
– Proven experience managing multiple store locations and handling people.
– Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
– Professional appearance with excellent sales presentation and interpersonal skills.
– Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
– Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
– Strong understanding of inventory management and retail sales processes.
– Passionate about continuous learning, teamwork, and delivering customer satisfaction.
– Flexible to work on varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
– Experience in premium retail or FMCG brands is an advantage.
