The Group General Manager oversees the strategic direction, overall operations, and profitability of all resort and hospitality properties under the group, ensuring world-class guest experiences while preserving the brand’s heritage and cultural identity. The role requires a dynamic leader who can balance operational excellence, brand consistency, and long-term business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Develop and implement the overall business strategy, aligning each property’s operations with the group’s vision and goals.
2. Lead and mentor key department heads to achieve financial, operational, and service excellence.
3. Drive brand development and uphold the resort’s identity as a premier heritage and luxury destination.
4.Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple properties, ensuring consistent quality standards across all guest services, accommodations, food and beverage, recreation, and maintenance areas.
5. Monitor service delivery and ensure compliance with brand, safety, and environmental standards.
6. Implement operational improvements to maximize efficiency and profitability.
7. Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and performance targets for all resorts.
8. Analyze financial statements and key performance indicators to ensure sustained revenue growth and cost control.
9. Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
10.Maintain the highest standards of hospitality, guest satisfaction, and service excellence.
11. Oversee implementation of guest feedback systems and ensure timely resolution of issues.
12. Champion continuous improvement initiatives in guest experience and service innovation.
13.Lead, motivate, and develop management teams to achieve organizational goals.
14. Promote a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
15. Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, and training strategies across properties.
16. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to strengthen brand positioning and visibility in local and international markets.
17. Support the development of promotional campaigns, events, and partnerships that highlight the resort’s cultural and heritage value.
18. Maintain positive relationships with owner, investors, local government units, tourism bodies, and community stakeholders.
19. Ensure that the resort group’s activities promote cultural preservation, sustainability, and community engagement.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience :
1. Bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
2. Minimum 10–15 years of senior management experience in luxury resorts, hotels, or integrated hospitality operations.
3. Proven experience managing multi-property operations or large-scale resort complexes.
4. Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and operational expertise.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
6. Deep appreciation for heritage, culture, and sustainability in tourism.
