US Estimator (CC) - (ZR_27596_JOB)

Job Description

This is a remote position.

Work Schedule : Monday to Friday 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm CST with 1 hour unpaid break.

Responsibilities :

Review project drawings, specifications, and documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.

Source and compare prices for materials, labor, and subcontractor services.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather accurate data.

Prepare bid proposals and ensure timely submission to clients.

Update cost databases and maintain records of past projects for reference.

Monitor project budgets and support in cost-control efforts.

Scope :

Provide accurate cost estimates that guide project planning and client proposals.

Ensure all estimates align with project specifications and industry standards.

Support project managers in tracking budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Build strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Contribute to improving estimation processes and maintaining a competitive edge.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or trades industry.

Must have 2-3 years of US-based residential experience

Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in estimating software, spreadsheets, and project management tools.

Good communication and negotiation skills for working with suppliers and clients.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Background in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
