Procurement and Inventory Officer

Job Overview :

We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement and Inventory Officer to oversee day-to-day inventory and purchasing tasks. The role involves managing requisitions, negotiating supplier contracts, handling returns, and ensuring smooth operations within the purchasing and inventory teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor daily transactions within the Purchasing and Inventory unit.
• Review weekly requisitions and stock transfer forms for accuracy.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve issues (e.g., non-delivery, short delivery).
• Facilitate returns and manage defective supplies with suppliers.
• Maintain purchasing documents for audit purposes.
• Handle purchasing and inventory tasks during team absences to ensure operational continuity.
• Approve non-regular requests and maintain proper documentation.
• Conduct annual supplier evaluations.
• Schedule and ensure machine calibration for accreditation.
• Prepare agreements for new and existing suppliers.
• Coordinate the accreditation of new suppliers and verify resigned employees' clearances.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.
