Job Title : Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities :
- Submit any relevant supplier claims within 24 hours of receiving the necessary paperwork.
- Ensure payments are made only for stock that has been received and / or that is compliant with HACCP guidelines.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, including disruptions, quality issues, and fluctuating prices.
- A stable and reliable procurement process with minimized supply chain disruptions
- Investigate any margin requests related to stock that comes through.
- Ensure accurate pricing and margin maintenance.
- Monitor inventory levels daily / weekly and identify stock requirements.
- Stock is available in the right quantity, at the right time, and at the right cost. Reduced stockouts and overstock situations.
- Price update program to be run daily
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date pricing to minimize sales disruptions and promptly capture any price increase.
- To upload all invoices and packing slips to Nexus for documentation management and for HACCP purposes.
- Keeping accurate records for each purchase order received.
- Working with AP to locate missing invoices and assisting with claims investigation.
- Avoid delays in paying invoices and closing off claims in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field .Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing roles .Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain best practices.High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills .Proficiency in MS Office Suite and procurement / ERP systems
