Job descriptionOversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Ensure the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Review and validate financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Supervise and support the accounting team in both system-based and manual accounting tasks. Maintain documentation for all accounting transactions and support audit requirements. Assist in process improvements and the implementation of accounting best practices. Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as needed.
Location : BGC Taguig
Work setup & schedule : Full onsite | Dayshift
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy.
- At least 4 years of experience in general accounting, with background in working within the retail industry .
- Proficient in utilizing accounting software and manual accounting using Excel.
- CPA license is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
