Procurement Specialist

Job Overview

The Procurement Specialist supports the operational activities of the Procurement team by assisting Procurement Executives in the end-to-end sourcing, contracting, and vendor management processes. The role contributes to the company's objectives by ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, goods, and services while upholding procurement policies, ethical standards, and compliance requirements. This position is intended to support ongoing procurement requirements for a specific project period or scope.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sourcing & Procurement Support

• Assist in sourcing activities, including canvassing suppliers, gathering quotations, and preparing bid summaries.
• Support Procurement Executives in facilitating purchase requisitions and ensuring completeness of documentation.
• Coordinate with user departments for technical specifications and procurement timelines.
• Participate in basic vendor negotiations under the guidance of Procurement Executives.
