ROLE OVERVIEW
The ISO Compliance Specialist will work closely with the Director, consultants, and the current VA team. The role supports internal audits, ISO documentation, system development, and general operational coordination. You will help improve system quality, support project delivery, and contribute to the company’s ongoing improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Audit and Compliance Support
- Conduct internal audits across core processes and management systems
- Assist with gap analyses for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001
- Support occupational health and safety and environmental audit activities
- Help prepare audit reports, findings, and corrective action documents
ISO System Development
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining ISO management systemsFormat and update documentation in Word, Excel, and VisioInterpret and use process flowcharts to support system improvementsApply proper document control when creating or updating documentsReview, proofread, and enhance manuals, procedures, and templatesProject and Operational Support
Use Teamwork (teamwork.com) to track tasks and project progressCoordinate with the Director, consultants, and VAs for scheduling and planningManage and respond to emails and Teams messagesJoin virtual meetings and participate in improvement initiativesProvide personal assistant support to the Director or consultants when neededPerform ad hoc administrative or project support tasksRequirements
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Strong proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)Experience conducting internal audits or supporting ISO-related audit activitiesKnowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001Background in quality, environmental, OH&S, or cybersecurity systemsExcellent communication skills with strong attention to detailFast learner who adapts quickly to new systems and processesHighly organized, proactive, and comfortable working remotelyBenefits
