Engineering Managing Head ( For Pooling )

About the role

You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the engineering and technical aspects of the company's building facilities maintenance.

What you'll be doing

Manage and direct the engineering team to ensure efficient and effective operations

Develop and implement engineering strategies, policies, and procedures to optimise pooling processes

Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and infrastructure

Analyse performance data and identify areas for improvement in pooling operations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address engineering-related challenges and drive innovation

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols

Provide technical expertise and guidance to the broader organisation

Lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Licensed mechanical or electrical engineer.

With at least 5 years of experience in the field of building facilities maintenance

Proven track record of leading and motivating engineering teams to achieve operational excellence

Computer literate and knowledgeable in equipment maintenance, quantity surveying and reporting.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strong project management and budgeting skills

Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
