Summary :
A growing AU shared services firm is seeking an Accountant to support the financial operations of its entities. This role will be responsible for general accounting functions, including journal postings, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities :
- Post journals and prepare month-end closing files.
- Assist in providing documentation for external audits.
- Perform Accounts Payable tasks across group entities, ensuring timely and accurate payment runs.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable, handle receipting, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Manage bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations, liaising with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and administer the expense management tool.
- Assist the Team Leader in monitoring shared mailboxes and responding to queries.
- Support ad hoc tasks and process improvement initiatives as required.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.3-6 years of experience in general accounting, preferably with exposure to Australia-based companies.Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications.Strong Excel and reconciliation skills, with keen attention to detail.Highly organized, analytical, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.Work Setup : Full Onsite
Schedule : Morning Shift (6 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM, Monday-Friday)
