Pollution Control Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains and monitors the implementation and full compliance of the company on government environmental rules and regulations

Attends to the requirements of the establishment to the construction or installation of pollution control facilities including the application and securing of necessary pollution permits renewal.

Ensures proper execution of the chemical management and scrap and waste management control.

Monitors hazardous and residual waste materials and conducts environmental inspections.

Conducts environmental inspections and recommends action for improvement.

Coordinates with DENR and LLDA on compliance with environmental laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS (Any of the ff)

Licensed engineers / chemists with at least two (2) years relevant experience in environmental management.

Professionals in the field of engineering or physical and natural sciences with at least three (3) years relevant experience in environmental management.

Other professionals of appropriate discipline with at least five (5) years relevant experience in environmental management.
