DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees accounting operations of residential properties across multiple functions to maintain financial integrity and compliance.
Focuses on delivering accurate, compliant, and efficient financial processes while enabling decision support for property finance partners.
Provides financial insights, reporting, and solutions to support business decisions and operational strategies.
Manages managers, team leads, and specialists across diverse accounting functions, ensuring consistent execution and development.
Oversees teams handling journal entries, reconciliations, cash application, billing, AP / AR processing, month- and year-end closings, and tax compliance activities.
Directs month-end and year-end close activities, financial reporting, and statutory compliance across accounting functions.
Oversees resolution of high-impact accounting issues, escalations, and audit findings across the shared services organization.
Leads process improvements, automation initiatives, and capability building to enhance efficiency and control.
Develops talent through training, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Ensures adherence to PFRS, internal controls, BIR, SEC, and DHSUD.
Responsible for all accounting operations, compliance, reporting accuracy, and audit readiness for property management operations.
Excludes direct ownership of financial planning, analysis, budget forecasting, treasury management, and procurement-related activities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
CPA, CMA, or other professional accounting certification required.
With 7 - 12 years total experience, with at least 3-5+ years in finance / accounting leadership roles.
Proven experience in the real estate industry or leading accounting shared services functions.
Deep knowledge of PFRS, internal controls, financial reporting, BIR, SEC, and DHSUD compliance.
Strong leadership skills in managing, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
