Venture Lab Lead

Kennemer Group is launching The Venture Lab — an innovation platform to design, connect, and scale market-based ventures that unlock opportunities for rural communities across the Philippines.

We are looking for a motivated business development professional with strong entrepreneurial drive to build this initiative from the ground up.

The Venture Lab Lead will turn opportunities into real ventures that create direct market pathways for the communities working with Kennemer programs. This means spotting high-potential business ideas, structuring supply chains that farmers and local enterprises can plug into , and securing offtake agreements that provide stable, long‑term market access. The role is both strategic and hands‑on — shaping ventures that generate income, scale sustainably, and deliver real impact on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Pilot Ventures : Identify promising opportunities, build venture models with clear production and financial structures, and design for scale from the start.
• Business Development & Market Linkages : Secure partnerships with buyers, processors, and traders; negotiate offtake agreements; and structure smart aggregation models.
• Coordinate Across Kennemer Companies : Integrate ventures with Agronomika’s microfinance network, Keneco’s livelihood programs, and Kennemer Foods’ value chains.
• Build Partnerships : Engage with government, private sector, and donors to strengthen and scale ventures.
• Scale the Lab : Document pilot lessons, refine models, and develop a roadmap to institutionalize the Lab as a venture development engine within Kennemer Group.
