Role Overview :
Key Responsibilities :
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including merger agreements, acquisition documents, joint ventures, and financing arrangements.
- Conduct due diligence for M&A transactions, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Provide strategic legal advice on energy matters, deal structuring, compliance, and post-transaction integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including partners, associates, and external stakeholders, to deliver client-focused solutions.
- Stay abreast of evolving laws and regulations in energy, corporate and transactional law.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to firm-wide knowledge sharing.
Qualifications :
Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from a reputable institution.Admitted to the Philippine Bar in good standing.At least 4 years of relevant experience in energy, M&A, deal work, and complex contracts, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.Strong understanding of Philippine energy, corporate laws, securities regulations, and international transaction practices.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Seniority level
