Overview
Responsible for the planning and control of the product range of a company to achieve good margin, good flow of inventory and healthy stock
Responsibilities
- Prepare brand annual MPLAN which align with company financial directions
- Forecast sales, inventory, and buying by article level (through rolling forecast) to ensure the availability of best selling products
- Analyse historical sales by attributes and size to give correct recommendation to Merchandising Team in terms of varieties, depth, and incoming flows
- Review Buying Plan to ensure proper depth and breadth
- Participate in Weekly Brand Meeting to discuss and help Merchandising Team resolving any issue
- Prepare any Adhoc Analysis related to Merchandising
- Monitoring incoming goods (GR) and Review the allocation in order to ensure the incoming on track and Allocation already go to the right doors by checking the Initial allocation plan and review the inventory level, sales, aging stock and inventory by discount bucket
- Determine brand potential problem, evaluate SKU’s performance, In season sell through and margin
- Train Junior Merchandise Planning Staffs to improve their Merchandising Planning and Forecasting Skills
