Job Position : Senior Estimator
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM (PH Time)
Work Setup : On-site
Location : ABDC Building, Scout Rallos Street, Quezon City
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Estimator plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely quoting of products for customers. This position is responsible for evaluating job requirements, determining tooling needs, preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs), and establishing efficient manufacturing processes in the M1 system. The role requires a high degree of accuracy, technical expertise, and collaboration with the Sales Team to help secure new business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Quoting
Key Tasks :
Determine the best, most efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing method for all jobs.
Maintain and update the RFQ register.
Prepare accurate quotes for all customer jobs and inquiries.
Create BOMs for all jobs.
Ensure drawings, materials, and subcontractor details are properly allocated within the BOM.
Verify tooling requirements prior to sending quotes.
Collaborate with the Sales Team to provide insights and gather feedback that may help in winning orders.
Manage and complete tenders and bids.
Accountabilities :
Quotes under 5,000 must be sent within 24 hours.
Quotes over 5,000 must be sent within 25 days depending on job size and complexity.
All M1 entries must be completed accurately with correct processes.
Authorities :
Define and establish manufacturing processes.
Determine the required work center for each job.
Approval to send quotes up to a specified dollar value (to be finalized within 3 months).
2. M1 Management
Ensure accurate and consistent creation of parts in the M1 system.
Ensure all quotes include complete and necessary documentation (drawings, material / subcontractor IDs, pricing, etc.).
Create new materials as needed.
Develop new processes and work centers when required.
Continuously improve M1-related processes for efficiency and accuracy.
3. Team Management & Collaboration
Generate reports in M1 for sales and management meetings.
Gather feedback from the Sales Team on estimate performance and develop systemized solutions for clients.
Support the company in troubleshooting manufacturing and quoting issues and provide direction as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years of trade or practical experience, preferably as a Senior Estimator
Experience in team management and leading cross-functional teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in AutoCAD and M1 ERP system
Solid knowledge of engineering and manufacturing practices
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
