Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute the strategic vision for engineering, aligning it with the overall business objectives. Provide leadership in driving innovations and improvements, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Team Management : Lead and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and high performance. Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives to build a skilled and motivated team.
- Platform Development : Direct the design, development, and maintenance of robust banking platforms, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability standards. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, assessing their applicability. Hands-on experience with Java, .Net and other technologies. Have a good understanding of CI / CD. Understand microservice, cloud (aws), and Kubernetes well.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with product management, UX / UI, and other cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Quality Assurance : Implement and enforce best practices for software engineering, quality assurance, and continuous integration to deliver high-quality banking solutions.
- Project Management : Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring timely delivery of projects. Regularly update stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications : Education :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience :
With 20+ years of total experience in IT.Proven experience (10+ years) in software engineering.Previous experience in a leadership role, demonstrating strategic thinking and team management.Technical Skills :
In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies, frameworks, and cloud services.Hands-on Java / .Net / Full stackCommunication :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strategic Thinking :
Ability to think strategically and align technical solutions with broader business goals.Certifications :
