Presales Design Engineering Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Design Engineers, fostering performance and growth.

Oversee project planning and design execution, ensuring solutions meet client needs.

Collaborate with Sales during the presales process, offering technical insight and validation.

Review and approve technical documents and prototypes to uphold quality standards.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying process optimizations and encouraging innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum of 5 years in Solutions Architect, Design and Estimation for Security products (Access Control, Biometrics, Turnstiles, RFID, CCTV, Alarm, etc.), with a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.

Supervises Design Engineers, analyzes bidding documents, prepares project submittals, and manages costing and compliance.

Recommends suppliers, provides cost benchmarks, and supports project implementation with detailed cost proposals.

Suggests and implements workflow improvements and digital forms; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.

Skilled in creating single line diagrams, riser diagrams, shop drawings, and interpreting design specs, wiring layouts, and as-built plans.
