Role Overview
We’re looking for an exceptional Learning & Development Manager to design and deliver learning experiences that bring our culture and capability ambitions to life. You’ll be at the heart of shaping how we grow our people – from building manager and leadership capability to creating clear career pathways and implementing scalable learning tools.
You’ll partner across the business to identify learning needs, design engaging solutions, and roll out scalable tools and frameworks – ensuring learning drives performance, engagement, and growth across all levels.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves to blend creativity with execution — a true self-starter who thrives on making things happen and driving impact through learning.
What You Will Do
Learning Strategy & Design
- Translate business and talent priorities into a clear, actionable learning and development plan.
- Design and deliver learning programmes that strengthen our core, management, and leadership capabilities.
- Build structured career pathways and competency frameworks that support transparent progression and internal mobility.
- Partner with business leaders and wider P&C team to identify and address capability gaps that enable high performance.
Programme Delivery & Facilitation
Deliver engaging, high-impact learning sessions and workshops for managers and leaders.Manage the full learning cycle – from needs analysis through to evaluation and continuous improvement.Coach and inspire managers to embed learning into everyday work and team culture.Learning Systems & Tools
Lead the implementation and rollout of our Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring adoption, engagement, and measurable outcomes.Curate and integrate digital learning tools and external content libraries (experience with Skillsoft advantageous).Analyse learning data and feedback to assess effectiveness and drive ongoing improvement.Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Partner closely with wider P&C team, Internal Communications, and functional leads to embed learning across the employee lifecycle.Source, evaluate, and manage external vendors to deliver high-quality, cost-effective learning solutions.Any other projects / initiatives as directed by the CPORequirements
What You Will Bring
7-10 years’ proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing learning & development strategies aligned to business and people priorities.Demonstrated success in building capability frameworks, career pathways, and leadership development programmes.Experience in diagnosing learning needs through data, engagement insights, and performance outcomes.Track record of managing end-to-end learning programmes — from scoping, vendor selection, and contracting to delivery and evaluation.Experience in implementing digital learning platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, Skillsoft).Experience measuring learning ROI and impact, including behavioural and performance change.Demonstrable experience in leadership and management development, including design and facilitation of workshops or learning journeys.Experience in embedding a learning culture, driving self-directed learning and capability ownership across the business.Preferred / Desirable Experience
Experience in organisational transformation or cultural change programmes, using L&D to enable mindset and behavioural shifts.Exposure to international organisations, tailoring learning solutions across geographies and cultures.Experience working within fast-paced, high-growth, PE-backed environments, where agility and commercial focus are key.Familiarity with modern learning methodologies — e.g., 70-20-10 model, blended learning, microlearning, and experiential learning.Experience in developing high potential / talent acceleration programmes.Knowledge of psychometric tools, 360-degree feedback, or leadership assessments.Benefits
