Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Home Care Virtual Assistant to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring that the electronic visit verification (EVV) system, AuthentiCare , is accurately managed, that billing is submitted properly, and reimbursements are received on time.
The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy , comfortable working with digital tools, and quick to learn new software. While experience with AuthentiCare is not required, prior exposure to EMR systems or billing platforms will be considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities
- EVV Management :
- Monitor and manage visit data through AuthentiCare to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Review and resolve visit discrepancies, ensuring services are accurately documented.
- Billing & Reimbursement :
- Confirm billing submissions are completed on time.
- Track reimbursements and follow up to ensure timely payments.
- Payment & Claims Oversight :
- Confirm client payments and maintain accurate records.
- Support employment claims and coordinate with payroll / HR as needed.
- Administrative Support :
- Track attendance, documenting who is working and who is not.
- Assist with other administrative duties that support agency operations.
- Compliance & Reporting :
- Ensure compliance with EVV regulations and payer requirements.
- Prepare reports on billing, attendance, and compliance status for management.
Requirements
Qualifications
Strong technical skills; comfortable learning new software and systems quickly.Prior experience with EMR systems or billing tools is an asset.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Previous home care, healthcare, or administrative experience preferred but not required.Benefits
