Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to become the dedicated financial operations specialist for a dynamic company that recognizes the critical importance of accurate accounts payable and receivable management. You’ll work directly with management in a collaborative environment where your expertise will be valued and your contributions will have immediate impact on cash flow and financial operations. The role offers the perfect balance of established processes and growth opportunities, allowing you to both execute proven procedures and help document best practices as the company continues to expand.

Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments
  • Handle all account receivable functions including invoicing, collections, and customer account management
  • Utilize Sage 100 ERP system for all accounting transactions and financial record maintenance
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to document processes and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate directly with operations management on financial planning and cash flow optimization
  • Maintain meticulous financial records with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Support month-end closing processes and financial reporting activities
  • Provide consistent, reliable financial operations support as a dedicated team member

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk with specific expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Proficiency with Sage 100 ERP system or demonstrated ability to master similar enterprise accounting software quickly
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
  • Excellent time management abilities with a proven track record of working independently
  • Experience creating process documentation or strong willingness to develop SOPs
  • Outstanding communication skills for direct collaboration with management team
  • Commitment to consistency and reliability in a part-time role
  • Professional attitude and ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
