Job Description : You’ll be the driving force behind business development for a growing industrial services company, connecting with decision-makers across Canada’s manufacturing landscape. Working directly with the Sales Manager, you’ll own the entire front-end of the sales process—from identifying prospects to setting qualified appointments that convert into partnerships. This role combines the excitement of high-volume prospecting with the satisfaction of building meaningful business relationships in specialized industrial markets.
Responsibilities :
Conduct 50-150 outbound calls daily to prospects across Canadian marketsResearch and identify potential leads in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, and industrial sectorsQualify prospects and handle objections while maintaining professional persistenceSet confirmed appointments with interested decision-makers for sales team closureCollaborate with Sales Manager to approve target companies and refine lead strategiesBuild and nurture prospect pipelines through consistent follow-up and relationship developmentGenerate brand awareness through professional outreach in specialized industrial marketsMaintain detailed records of prospect interactions and pipeline statusRequiremetns :
Fluent English with excellent verbal communication and professional phone presenceB2B sales experience with proven track record in Sales, appointment setting or lead generation (closing required)Confidence handling high-volume cold calling and prospect objectionsExperience working with commercial or industrial clients (bonus if manufacturing background)Self-motivated with strong work ethic and resilience in face of rejectionResearch skills for identifying and qualifying potential prospectsIt helps if you have familiarity with Canadian business marketsIndependent Contractor Perks
