Job Summary :
The Accounting Assistant - Residential Segment will be in charge in the preparation of monthly residential segment financial reports and related schedules. He / She will also provide various reports required by the management with the direct supervision of his / her supervisor. He / She will maintain, keep track and consolidate, as necessary, the various reports being prepared by the regional finance units.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Preparation of Monthly Residential Segment Financial Reports and Related Schedules :
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of the residential segment financial reports and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Assistance in preparation of various residential financial reports and schedules (but not limited to the following) :
Balance Sheet
Cash Flow StatementRawland, Inventory and Reserve ScheduleSubdivision / Property Repairs SchedulePresentation materialsSupport the accounting lead in preparation of other relevant reports to be submitted to management.Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in accounting standards to ensure compliance and relevance in accounting.Month-end closing support such as account analytics, reconciliation and clean-up, as needed.Collaborate with regional finance partners and other cross-functional teams and participate in discussions related to residential project accounts, providing documentation, reconciliation and explanations as needed.Other relevant tasks as assigned.EDUCATION,TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS :
BS in Accountancy or any Accounting / Finance-related courseWith background in preparing financial reports
Proficient in using MS Office
