Key Responsibilities :

  • Patient Intake Management : Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Appointment Scheduling : Coordinate and schedule patient appointments with healthcare providers.
  • Medical Record Handling : Ensure accurate data entry and management of patient records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Insurance Verification : Assist in checking coverage and eligibility for medical procedures.
  • Patient Communication : Handle inbound and outbound calls, responding to inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Pre-Appointment Preparation : Gather necessary medical history and documentation before consultations.
  • Coordination with Healthcare Providers : Facilitate communication between patients, providers, and insurance representatives.
  • HIPAA Compliance : Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to healthcare privacy regulations.
  • Administrative Support : Assist with medical billing, claims processing, and other administrative duties as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and healthcare scheduling software.
  • Background in medical billing and insurance verification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a remote healthcare support role preferred.
