Job descriptionExperience with benefit verification and authorization. 2+ years of Medical Front Office experience. Outpatient rehab office experience preferred. Proficient computer and typing skills with software knowledge. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills with formal training. Ability to handle inbound and outbound calling. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in several EMR systems simultaneously. Ability to deal with patients and clients in a caring, respectful, warm, and empathetic manner. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance role within a medical office environment. Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in difficult situations. Strong collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills. Answering phone calls and addressing patient questions. Verifying appointments and ensuring proper patient information. Checking benefits and verifying insurance policies.
