Responsibilities
- Conduct hydrological studies and analyze hydrological data to support project planning and design.
- Develop and utilize hydrological models to assess water flow, quality, and availability.
- Perform field surveys to collect data related to water bodies, precipitation, and soil conditions.
- Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other stakeholders on integrated water resources projects.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing research methodology, findings, and recommendations.
- Stay updated on advancements in hydrology and related fields to enhance project outcomes.
- Advise on regulatory compliance and best practices concerning water management and conservation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Hydrology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.A minimum of 5 years of experience in hydrological analysis and water resources management.Proficiency in hydrological modeling software and data analysis tools.Strong knowledge of water laws, regulations, and environmental impact assessments.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills for presenting complex information to a variety of audiences.Professional certification in hydrology or a related field is a plus.
