This position requires a strategic approach to sales management, coaching, and development to ensure the achievement of revenue targets and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Execution : Develop and implement sales strategies to drive unit revenue growth and meet targets; analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify business opportunities; collaborate with Client Service Sales Managers to create actionable sales plans aligned with company objectives; provide guidance on effective sales techniques, client engagement, and closing strategies; monitor sales performance metrics and conduct regular reviews and strategy meetings for performance improvement.
- Core Leadership and Development : Lead and mentor a team of Client Service Sales Managers to excel in their roles and achieve sales objectives; provide coaching, training, and performance feedback; set clear performance expectations and KPIs; foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement; conduct regular team meetings, sales training sessions, and workshops.
- Client Relationship Management : Participate in key client meetings; address escalated client inquiries or concerns; identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling financial products and services; monitor client satisfaction and take proactive steps to enhance retention; act as a point of contact for high-value clients.
- Operational Management : Oversee sales operations and ensure compliance with company policies; collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and Marketing; monitor budgets, expenses, and revenue targets; ensure timely reporting of performance, forecasts, and metrics; implement best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree or related fieldRegistered Financial Planner (RFP) certification or equivalent preferred but not mandatoryChartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is beneficial but not mandatoryExperience
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in sales management within the financial services industryProven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve sales targetsDemonstrated success in developing and implementing effective sales strategiesLeadership and Management Skills
