General Description
We are looking for a skilled and customer-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our team and ensure smooth operation of computer systems, software, and networks. The role involves troubleshooting issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and delivering excellent support to both on-site and remote users.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to employees and clients via phone, email, chat, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on time .
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in line with security policies.
- Monitor system performance, perform regular updates, and apply security patches.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff or external vendors when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, resolutions, and IT assets.
- Train staff on basic IT functions, security best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Assist with system backups, disaster recovery procedures, and data protection compliance.
- Support onboarding of new hires by setting up workstations, accounts, and software access.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology , Computer Science, or related field (preferred).Proven experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or technical support role.Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and productivity software.Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN / WAN, TCP / IP, VPN).Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.Benefits
