Role Name : Sales Representative & Lead Generation Specialist
Schedule : 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm EST with one hour of unpaid break

Job Description : You’ll play a pivotal role in rebuilding and expanding this growing event rental company’s market presence. Starting with a strategic database reconstruction project, you’ll then transition into active lead generation and relationship building within the vibrant Northeast events industry. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the company’s sales foundation from the ground up, with clear growth potential and the chance to directly impact revenue generation in a recovering and evolving market.

Responsibilities : Build and organize a comprehensive CRM database during your first month, focusing on event professionals across the Northeast region Research and update contact information for event industry professionals, particularly in New York City and surrounding areas Conduct targeted lead generation activities including cold calling to potential clients and event planners Set up meetings and maintain direct communication with event professionals and prospective customers Identify and research major events happening throughout the Northeast region Maintain accurate CRM records and update lead information consistently Transition from database building to active sales and lead generation after initial setup period Support business development initiatives and contribute to overall sales strategy Collaborate with team on market expansion and client relationship management Requirements : Proven experience with CRM systems and database management Strong cold calling abilities and excellent phone communication skills Research skills to identify and qualify leads effectively Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Comfortable with lead generation, prospecting, and sales activities Proficiency with various software tools and ability to integrate with existing systems Bonus if you have knowledge of the events or party rental industry It helps if you have experience in B2B sales or working with event professionals
