At least 10 years of progressive IT experience, with 5+ years in a senior IT leadership role, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred).At least 10 years of progressive IT experience, with 5+ years in a senior IT leadership role, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.Strong knowledge of BSP regulations, including Circulars 808, 982, 1019, 1122, 1140, and 1185.Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or PMP are highly desirable.Experience in cybersecurity, digital transformation, and IT governance frameworks.The Chief Information Officer (CIO) leads the banks overall information technology strategy, governance, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. The CIO ensures that all IT systems, digital transformation initiatives, and data management practices are secure, efficient, compliant with internal policies, and fully aligned with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) regulations (e.g., BSP Circular No. 982, 1019, 1122, and other applicable issuances).
Key Responsibilities :
1. IT Strategy & Governance
Develop and implement the banks IT strategy to support business goals and regulatory compliance.Ensure adherence to BSP Circulars on IT Risk Management, Cybersecurity, and Outsourcing.Oversee IT governance, enterprise architecture, and alignment with industry best practices (e.g., COBIT, ITIL).2. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure IT operations comply with BSP policies including Circular 1122 (Revised IT Risk Management Framework).3. Cybersecurity & Data Privacy
Serve as a key member of the Information Security Governance Structure.
Oversee the implementation of cybersecurity frameworks and tools in line with BSP Circular No. 1140 and relevant NIST standards.Ensure protection of sensitive customer and bank data, in coordination with the Data Protection Officer (DPO).4. IT Operations & Infrastructure
Lead the planning, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems (core banking, digital banking, networks, databases, etc.).Manage business continuity planning (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, ensuring compliance with BSP's guidelines.Oversee IT vendor management and ensure outsourcing arrangements comply with BSP Circular No. outsourcing policies.5. Digital Transformation & Innovation
Drive the banks digital initiatives, including mobile banking, online platforms, AI / analytics, and process automation.Explore emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.6. Leadership & People Management
Build and manage a high-performing IT team with expertise in infrastructure, development, support, and cybersecurity.Promote a culture of innovation, compliance, and continuous learning within the IT division.#J-18808-Ljbffr
