A leading player in the seafood trading and cold-chain logistics sector is seeking a visionary President / Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead its nationwide operations.
This role sits at the helm of a high-impact organization engaged in fish brokerage, seafood distribution, and cold-storage management, directly shaping the future of the Philippine fisheries supply chain.
The President / COO will drive strategic expansion, financial sustainability, and operational transformation — ensuring world-class standards in procurement, auction coordination, logistics, and compliance across multiple port sites nationwide.
Key Leadership Mandate
Provide strategic direction and operational leadership across fish trading, cold storage, and logistics divisions.
Drive P&L performance, cost efficiency, and business growth while ensuring full regulatory compliance (BFAR, DA, LGU).
Oversee national trading operations, including procurement, auction systems, classification, weighing, and settlement accuracy.
Champion digital transformation and system modernization for transparent, scalable brokerage operations.
Strengthen partnerships with fishing vessel owners, exporters, wholesalers, and retailers across the Philippines.
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams with a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Represent the company in industry councils, trade associations, and government consultations, elevating its market influence.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior-level executive with 10+ years of leadership experience in seafood trading, logistics, supply chain, FMCG, or agri-food sectors.
Proven success in C-suite or P&L ownership roles (President, COO, GM, Managing Director, or similar).
Deep understanding of cold-chain logistics, trading operations, and compliance frameworks (BFAR, DA, LGU).
Exceptional skills in strategic planning, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
Decisive, analytical, and grounded in operational excellence with a high sense of integrity.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fisheries, Maritime Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred).
