Chinese Program Director

The Chinese Program Director is responsible for promoting and implementing the school's Chinese Program, overseeing all Chinese teachers in all departments regarding curriculum articulation and updates. He / She spearheads events or functions in the Chinese community that promote Chinese heritage and culture, and coordinates with the Confucius Institute to facilitate orientation / onboarding, regular or periodic and year‑end evaluation of Chinese teachers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BS / AB) of any 4‑year course, or has a diploma / certificate in Teaching Chinese Language
• High level of proficiency in Chinese Language both oral and written
• Master's degree with a minimum of 18 units in a relevant field of specialization (e.g., Education, Educational Management)
