Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of health and ancillary insurance products and benefit plan designs, a plus
- 1–2 years of experience in a marketing support, administrative, or coordination role (preferably in healthcare or insurance industry)
- Strong analytical and research skills to support market data gathering and competitor analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Job Description :
Under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor, the Market Coordinator (Insurance Quote Specialist) plays a critical role in supporting Benefit Consultants in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This position is responsible for generating accurate quotes by utilizing carrier quoting engines and other relevant tools. The Market Coordinator ensures the timely and efficient delivery of market data to aid in client proposals and benefit plan recommendations.
Responsibilities :
Retrieve insurance rate quotes from various carriers using online toolsComplete quote requests accurately and within the required turnaround timeWork closely with team members to manage and complete shared tasksDownload and organize plan benefit summaries and other relevant documentsMaintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsiblyRegularly update and manage internal company databasesAssist with special projects and other tasks assigned by managementFollow company policies on quality, security, safety, and data privacyAddress any issues found during audits and report any security concerns
