This is a remote position.

• 40 hours / week
• Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm GMT with 1 hour unpaid break

Responsibilities Maintain and optimize Sage accounting software for seamless daily operations Process payments efficiently through integrated construction industry software systems Develop and monitor budget forecasts and cash flow projections to support business growth Manage comprehensive payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness Handle diverse accounting activities that keep the business running smoothly Ensure full compliance with UK tax obligations and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) requirements Collaborate effectively with external accounting partners for year-end processes and strategic planning Requirements Proven experience with Sage accounting software (MUST) Strong expertise in UK business accounting practices and tax compliance (MUST) Construction industry accounting experience highly preferred Solid understanding of CIS regulations and construction-specific financial requirements Ability to work effectively with integrated software platforms Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy Self-motivated professional who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment
