Job Role : Remote Administrative Assistant

Compensation range : 1200AUD - 1500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type : Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule : This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 10AM - 6 PM (AEST), Monday to Friday) for collaboration

Who We Are : At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is :

We are a growing Accounting services firm supporting clients across accounting, tax, and business accounting and advisory sectors. With a reputation for excellence and client care, we are now seeking a dedicated Remote Administrative Assistant to support our team and clients with high-level administrative and secretarial tasks.

Role Overview :

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, reliable, and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting professionals in Australian accounting firms or in comparable professional services environments, and familiarity with handling secretarial tasks, managing client communications, and using relevant tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage calendars, book appointments, and coordinate meetings across multiple time zones
  • Liaise with clients and legal professionals for entity set-up, trust deed execution, and related documentation.
  • Handle ASIC-related secretarial work including Form 484, Form 362, company renewals, and changes to corporate records
  • Monitor and respond to emails on behalf of team members, ensuring timely and professional communication
  • Maintain and update internal databases and document registers
  • Prepare, review, and format documents and correspondence with high accuracy
  • Provide admin support to team members across different departments
  • Assist with basic e-marketing and social media scheduling or content coordination
  • Ensure confidentiality, compliance, and accurate record keeping at all times

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A high level of maturity and discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Prior experience or exposure to e-marketing or social media coordination is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage calendars and appointments independently
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace etc.
  • Preferred skills :

  • Experience working in or with an Australian accounting firm is highly regarded but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of ASIC requirements and company secretarial processes
  • Familiarity with Xero Practice Manager, Trello, Mailchimp or similar platforms is a plus. Experience or ability to use projects or GPT on ChatGpt.

    Work Arrangement & Expectations :

    This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
