Position Overview
The HR Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of core HR services, ensuring seamless execution of employee lifecycle processes, and driving continuous improvements in HR systems, compliance, and employee experience. This role collaborates closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to align HR operations with organizational goals and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Process Management
Lead day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, transfers, terminations, and other employee lifecycle activities.
Oversee timely and accurate payroll execution, benefits administration, and HR compliance activities.
Develop, standardize, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and best practices.
Partner with HR leadership to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
2. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure HR practices comply with all labor laws, employment regulations, and internal policies.
Maintain accurate and auditable employee records and HR documentation.
Monitor compliance metrics and proactively identify HR-related risks.
3. HR Technology & Data Management
Oversee the management of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity.
Create and analyze HR dashboards, metrics, and reports to support data-driven decisions.
Lead automation and digitization of manual HR processes to improve scalability and accuracy.
4. Employee Experience & Support
Manage HR support services and ensure timely resolution of employee queries.
Partner with managers to foster a positive workplace culture and enhance employee satisfaction.
Drive initiatives to continuously improve the employee experience across the organization.
5. Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the HR Operations team.
Establish cross-functional partnerships with HRBPs, Finance, IT, and Legal.
Monitor performance using SLAs, KPIs, and service delivery metrics to ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
8 12 years of progressive HR experience, with 3+ years in HR operations leadership.
Strong understanding of labor laws, HR compliance, and industry best practices.
Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and HR analytics tools.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities.
Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to lead in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
