Philippines Recorded Music Rights Inc. (PRM) is a non-stock, non-profit joint music licensing organization that represents members who are the Producers and Performers of sound recordings. PRM’s purpose is to license entities that play the sound recordings of our members and distribute these royalties directly to them. PRM is officially accredited as a collective management organization and recognized as a joint music licensing company by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL).

We’re looking for the right candidate to oversee this young and growing organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

• P&L management for entire Philippines business, reporting into the Board of Directors
• Ensure organizational effectiveness by providing leadership and managing the company’s licensing business and overall operations with strong strategic innovation
• Responsible for growth of company’s client base and revenue via member acquisition, efficient collection operations and effective stakeholder management
• Ensure distribution of collections to relevant stakeholders within stipulated time
• Develop and manage business partnerships that will extend reach and awareness of the business through various means and channels
• Build, lead and motivate a team within a continuously evolving business environment
• Establish systems and procedures for controls and evaluation of the internal teams as well as company’s performance
• Plan, implement and achieve collection targets within agreed cost margin standards
• Review, build and implement practical and efficient harmonized licensing schemes
• Negotiate, conclude and renew licensing agreements on best possible commercial terms
• Identify and exploit commercial opportunities for business expansion to ensure maximum and cost-effective nationwide licensing coverage
• Close involvement with commercial activities across the business; coordinate and communicate with other departments to ensure effective management reporting, excellent execution of processes and policies to support business growth
• Collaborate well with local, regional and global stakeholders
• Spearhead government relations when necessary
• Ensure the company operates in full compliance with Philippines laws

This is a full‑time, fully onsite role and the selected candidate will be based at the PRM office along Timog Avenue, Quezon City.
