About the Job
Our esteemed client, a Safety Services Provider in Australia, is looking for an Admin and Accounting Support Officer . In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of daily financial and administrative operations. This includes handling finance submissions, invoicing, sales reporting, order processing, client notifications, and supporting both accounts receivable and payable activities. Training will be provided for company-specific processes such as quote preparation and account application handling.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily business finance submissions and ensure timely reporting.
Process invoicing, accounting entries, and purchase order documentation.
Prepare and maintain internal Daily Sales Reports.
Notify clients regarding order status, overdue accounts, and finance-related updates.
Perform accurate accounts payable and receivable data entry.
Conduct sales quote follow-ups and coordinate with clients on pending quotations.
Process account applications, including business reference checks.
Handle daily order processing via email and maintain proper filing.
Support quote preparation and processing (training provided).
Follow up on overdue accounts and assist in credit control procedures.
Prepare and reconcile End-of-Month (EOM) statements, including credit and sales reports.
Coordinate with the bookkeeper on bank statements and account requirements.
Provide general administrative and accounting support to management.
Qualifications
Education : Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience : 1-3 years of experience in administrative and accounting support roles.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with accounting or ERP software is a plus.
Soft Skills : Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication for both client and internal coordination.
Language : Strong English proficiency, both written and verbal.
