About this Position
As a Tax Specialist for North America, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our transactional tax processes are executed with precision and compliance. What you´ll do
- Execute transactional tax processes and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regional tax regulations
- Manage exemption certificate lifecycle, including collection and issuance to / from customers and vendors, in alignment with Exemption Certificate Management policies
- Maintain and update mail-in databases for customer and vendor tax documentation, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
- Review sales and purchase transactions for tax compliance, applying necessary adjustments to support accurate tax reporting
- Collaborate closely with North America process owners and cross-functional departments to resolve tax-related issues and ensure seamless operations
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors to address tax documentation and exemption certificate inquiries
What makes you a good fit
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related coursesPreferably with one (1) year experience in Finance or Taxation roleKnowledge in Microsoft Office Skill (Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Outlook) is requiredIntermediate skills on SAP Basic Functionalities or any ERP system, Vertex Sales Tax, or any Tax Tool SystemAttention to details, team player, and analytical skillsExcellent English verbal and written communication skillsAmenable to work on a mid-shift schedule (12 : 00 NN to 9 : 00 PM) and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, MakatiSome perks of joining Henkel
