Overview
Lhoopa is seeking a senior Human Resources leader to build and scale its people and administrative functions in line with rapid growth. This role goes beyond traditional HR to become the architect of our people strategy, culture, and organizational backbone. The VP / Head of People & Culture will drive initiatives that make Lhoopa a destination for talent, ensure employee growth and engagement, and deliver the structure and processes that enable performance at scale. This is a critical leadership role, shaping not just policies and systems, but the way people experience working at Lhoopa every day.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement a company-wide people strategy aligned with Lhoopa’s mission, values, and growth objectives.
- Partner with the executive team on organization design, workforce planning, and succession management.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning, ensuring employees are empowered to perform and grow.
Talent Acquisition, Development & Retention
Lead end-to-end recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring Lhoopa attracts and retains top talent.Develop career pathways, leadership development, and training programs that strengthen internal capabilities.Partner with department heads to embed structured performance management systems and coaching practices.Architect and refine compensation and benefits frameworks to remain competitive, fair, and aligned with company strategy.Ensure policies and processes are standardized, scalable, and fully compliant with Philippine labor law and best practices.Use HR analytics to provide insight on workforce trends, employee engagement, and organizational health.Employee Lifecycle & Compliance
Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit, ensuring a positive and consistent experience.Proactively manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace safety.Ensure zero regulatory breaches by embedding compliance and risk management in all HR processes.Administrative & Operational Oversight
Scale the HR & Admin function with clear operating procedures, reporting frameworks, and controls.Oversee nationwide administrative operations, ensuring integration with Finance for budgetary alignment, cost discipline, and audit readiness.Deliver structured reporting on people KPIs, organizational health, and capacity forecasts to senior leadership and board stakeholders.Qualifications
Minimum 12+ years of progressive HR and people leadership experience, with at least 6 years in an executive role.Proven ability to scale HR functions in high-growth, complex organizations (start-up or emerging markets experience a strong plus).Deep expertise in Philippine labor law and employment regulations.Demonstrated success in building culture, managing change, and resolving complex people challenges.Strong track record in talent acquisition, development, and retention.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.High integrity, adaptability, and resilience; capable of inspiring confidence across the organization.Seniority level
