The Sales Finance Partner roleis responsible for driving the company’s profitability through effective financial and strategic management of assigned Modern Trade and General Trade accounts. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring customer plans to achieve business targets within the allocated budget. This position also provides sustainable and profitable business recommendations and represents CPFI with full accountability in managing customer relationships.
Essential Job Functions :
- Develop and implement strategic financial plans for assigned accounts to meet or exceed profitability targets.
- Conduct regular consultations with account representatives; document interactions using Talksheets.
- Track and reconcile customer Profit & Loss (P&L) monthly, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure alignment.
- Manage accounts receivable (AR) in coordination with Modern Trade and General Trade Business Development Managers.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of in-store promotional activities, including off take and budget utilization.
- Ensure all assigned account spending remains within the approved budget.
- Perform store checks and trade visits (approximately 20–30% of workweek), using Store Score metrics to assess execution.
- Collaborate weekly with the Sales Comptroller and Credit & Collection team to reconcile expenses and ensure accuracy.
