Schedule : Monday to Friday, flexible between 9 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM (Pacific Time)

Join a sophisticated wine importation business and play a key role in supporting its financial operations during a period of exciting growth. In this part-time role, you will handle complex transactions, manage importation accounting, and ensure accurate financial tracking. As the company expands into major retail partnerships, you will help maintain the financial structure that supports this trajectory. Responsibilities
Process ~10 complex invoices weekly, each containing multiple wine varieties (10–15 cases with 5+ wines per order)
Manage purchase orders and invoicing systems with accuracy
Perform comprehensive bank account and credit card reconciliations
Prepare detailed profit and loss statements to support decision-making
Verify remittances, resolve discrepancies (under / over / missing payments)
Transfer and organize invoice data between different software systems
Clean up and organize 2 years of historical financial data in Excel
Calculate product profit margins to support pricing strategies
Maintain accurate QuickBooks entries and financial records
Support invoicing system operations and process improvement
Assist with rental property management and tax preparation tasks
Requirements
Accounting degree or equivalent bookkeeping certification (required)
Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills
Experience with accounts payable / receivable and reconciliations
Exceptional attention to detail for multi-product transactions
Ability to work independently across multiple financial systems
Strong English communication skills for smooth collaboration
Interest in learning about the wine industry and international trade
Flexibility to scale hours as operations and retail partnerships grow
