Job Summary
R2 Group is seeking a Head of Retail and Merchandising to lead our new, integrated retail business unit. This leader will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy for our nationwide product offerings, extending the in-store brand experience directly into our customers' homes. This role will leverage our extensive network of over 250 salons, wellness clinics, and restaurants to build a cohesive, profitable, and customer-centric retail ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership : Develop and implement the overarching merchandising strategy, including product assortment, pricing, and promotions to drive sales and profitability across all brands.
Product Curation : Curate a compelling selection of home care and lifestyle products that complement our core services and strengthen the brand connection with customers.
Omnichannel Experience : Design and oversee the creation of engaging in-store displays and seamless e-commerce experiences to maximize customer engagement and sales.
Market & Data Analysis : Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and sales data to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
Vendor & Partnership Management : Cultivate and manage strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring product quality aligns with brand standards.
Team Development : Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing merchandising team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Performance Monitoring : Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, product performance, and promotional ROI to translate insights into actionable business strategies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within retail merchandising, category management, or retail operations .
Strong analytical and strategic skills with the ability to translate market data and trends into actionable plans.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
A natural leader with a track record of building, inspiring, and managing high-performing teams.
Deep knowledge of retail best practices , consumer trends, and merchandising strategies.
A passion for creating and curating products that enhance the customer experience and extend brand values.
